The 2015 Pump Technology Training Program will be held in Sydney on the 26 and 27 of August.

The Level 1 training course will be held as follows:

Session 1- Pump types and construction commencing at 9.00 am finishing 1.00 pm.

Session 2 – Pump systems and pump selection, commencing at 1.30 pm finishing 5.00 pm.

Session 3 – Pump operation and fluid parameters, commencing at 9.00 am finishing 1.00 pm.

Session 4 – Testing, installation and troubleshooting, commencing at 1.30 pm finishing 4.30pm.

Assignments will be given out for each session, which will be the basis for assessment at the end of the course, when completion certificates will be presented to successful candidates. The course fee will be $400.00 + GST per head and includes the supply our course notes.

Participants should bring a notepad, pencils and calculator for in session worked examples. There will be breaks for tea and coffee mid-session and a light lunch will be provided each day for participants.

The course will be held at the offices of Brown Brothers Engineers Australia, 211-215 Walters Road, Arndell Park, NSW 2148.

If required, the latest editions of PIA Technical and Friction handbooks – on which the course is based – can be purchased by participants at the PIA members price of $76.50 per copy.
