The Hargrave Street pump station (SA) currently under construction by Leed Engineering for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, has reached 75% completion, with work expected to continue until mid 2015.
The pump station is designed to improve the stormwater drainage network in order to minimise flooding of streets and properties in the Peterhead, Birkenhead and Largs Bay areas into the future.
Concreting of the station’s main pit chamber has recently been completed, along with the installation of Pen Stock Valves for the main drain. Work on the pipework connections along Hargrave Street has also commenced.
It is expected that the pump station will to be completed mid 2015.
