Bankstown City Council (NSW) is currently seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the maintenance of HVAC systems on council properties.

Bankstown City Council has a portfolio of buildings which have been fitted with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems which need period service, testing, calibrations and seasonal programming. The HVAC systems in buildings vary from smaller isolated units to more complex systems.

In addition to this, these systems need to be proactively checked to identify faults and worn out components to carry out timely repairs and renewals and also to ensure continual operation of the units as designed.

Hence, council has developed following scope of work to ensure the HVAC systems are maintained according to the relevant Australian Standards, Application Manual DA19 developed by AIRH (Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating) and according to the Work Health and Safety Standards, WorkCover Code of Practices and other relevant Australian legislation.

The contractor who provides this contract service must have relevant industry accreditation and certifications and technical qualifications & experience to ensure quality service is provided.

Submissions close: Tuesday 4 August 2015.
