Momentum is building for the inaugural South Australian iteration of Australia’s longest-running mining event. AIMEX will make its debut in Adelaide from 23-25 September, attracting thousands of delegates from across Australia and the world for three days of high-level business engagement.

With just three months to go, Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX) has welcomed another industry partner to the mix.

For 45 years, South Australian Chamber of Minerals and Energy (SACOME) has played a pivotal role in the evolution of the South Australian mining industry, advancing in tandem with the growth and development of the state’s resources and energy sectors.

With a long-standing history of championing responsible mining practices and representing the interests of miners across the state, SACOME’s support of AIMEX underscores the event’s relevance to the nation’s mining sector.

As a recognised industry leader, SACOME’s support of AIMEX will help drive participation from mining companies, suppliers, investors, and policymakers, while also offering attendees the unique opportunity to connect with key stakeholders, stay ahead of sector developments, and be part of vital conversations shaping the future of mining.

SACOME CEO Rebecca Knol said that the association is committed to accelerating the advancement of the resources sector for the economic prosperity of South Australia.

“Echoing the bid of support from the South Australian Government, SACOME is delighted that AIMEX will call South Australia home for the next 10 years, enabling the state to lead the way in future-focused mining”.

Knol added that “SACOME is proud to share with its members the opportunities to connect with Australia’s largest community of mining suppliers and professionals in the innovative and collaborative environment that AIMEX provides.”

General manager of events at Prime Creative Media, Siobhan Rocks, welcomes the support of SACOME, saying the association’s endorsement marks a major milestone for the event.

“AIMEX is about bringing together the entire mining value chain, and having SACOME on board is a powerful validation of what we’re building and solidifies AIMEX’s position as a key gathering point for the mining industry,” Rocks said.

“SACOME’s involvement reinforces the importance of AIMEX and signals to the broader industry that this is the place to be.”

In addition to the expansive exhibition floor, the AIMEX Mining Pavilion, sponsored by BHP, will include key players from leading mining organisations across the sector, offering unmatched access to industry leadership.

Offering exceptional industry insight and practical takeaways, AIMEXEX is a must-attend event for forward-thinking professionals, delivering deep industry knowledge and tangible value, and equipping attendees with the expertise and connections to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving sector.

Do not miss the opportunity to connect with industry leaders and experience the future of my industry firsthand.

Register now for AIMEX and be part of Australia and Asia Pacific’s premier mining gathering. Visit aimex.com.au/getinvolved/ to secure your place today.
