HVAC manufacturer Air2O has partnered with PuriFi Labs to provide whole-building air and surface purification to data centres, healthcare facilities, and lithium-ion battery and semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Air2O is a global leader in advanced, energy-efficient thermal management solutions particularly suited to the HVACD requirements of large-scale facilities. PuriFi Labs brings decades of expertise in air purification, automated control systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to projects for NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and others.

“Ensuring clean air in every environment has never been more critical,” said Mike Sullivan, CEO of Air2O. “Integrating PuriFi Labs’ patented air purification technology and Air2O’s advanced thermal management solutions enables us to deliver state-of-the-art systems to our HVAC customers. This collaboration reflects a shared passion for innovation and highlights the thriving business community in Arizona, where both companies proudly maintain our headquarters and manufacturing operations.”

With custom-build capabilities, innovation-minded engineers, and ISO-certified manufacturing facilities, Air2O delivers tailored thermal management solutions to customers worldwide, prioritising energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Notably, Air2O is Arizona’s sole manufacturer of low dew point HVACD applications.

“The PuriFi Labs team is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Air2O to usher in a new era of advanced air solutions for large-scale buildings. This pioneering collaboration, proudly manufactured in Arizona, leverages PuriFi Labs’ state-of-the-art technology to neutralize harmful airborne pathogens and eradicate the particles they travel on. Together, we aim to set an unprecedented global standard for safety, enhancing protection for every occupant of large-scale buildings worldwide,” said Tim Bender, CEO of PuriFi Labs.

PuriFi Labs’ patented Airborne Molecular Purification (AMP) technology has been rigorously researched and tested. The automated system combines the most sophisticated sensors with the latest air purification technology to divide and charge the molecules in the HVAC system’s airflow, generating a high-volume blend of natural, long-life molecular ions. AMP technology naturally deactivates tested viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces, effectively neutralizing odours while driving aerosols and particulates out of the breathing zone.
