Atlas Copco Group has announced the acquisition of Clearpro Construction Water Solutions Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based specialist in mobile water treatment rentals.

This strategic move aims to bolster Atlas Copco’s capabilities in temporary dewatering and water treatment solutions in Australia’s infrastructure, industrial, and agricultural sectors.

Clearpro, headquartered in Queensland, Australia, is renowned for its expertise in temporary mobile water treatment solutions, particularly for dewatering projects. The company serves a diverse clientele, including infrastructure construction, general industry, and agriculture. With a team of 12 employees, Clearpro reported revenues of about AUD 6 million (SEK 42 million) in 2024.

The acquisition aligns with Atlas Copco’s strategy to expand its offerings in the specialty rental sector. Clearpro will become part of the Specialty Rental division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. This integration is expected to enhance Atlas Copco’s service portfolio, combining Clearpro’s specialist water treatment knowledge and onsite dewatering expertise with Atlas Copco’s global reach and technical prowess.

“By combining specialist water treatment knowledge, in-house design and packaging capability with onsite dewatering expertise, Clearpro is an appreciated supplier of temporary mobile water treatment solutions which we are happy to welcome to the Group,” said Atlas Copco’s Andrew Walker, business area president, Power Technique.

This acquisition is poised to strengthen Atlas Copco’s presence in Australia’s water treatment sector, offering enhanced solutions for temporary mobile water treatment needs. The integration of Clearpro’s services is anticipated to provide Australian customers with more comprehensive and efficient dewatering and water treatment options, particularly in infrastructure and agricultural projects.
