Pump Industry Australia (PIA) is hosting a breakfast meeting on March 3 at Carlton Cafe, Melbourne, with presentations by experts in the pump sector.
Cameron Shaw from Franklin Electric will present a discussion on guidelines for the operation and maintenance of submersible electric motors for boreholes.
While Rory Paltridge from ABB Motors and Generators will explore the features and benefits of synchronous reluctance motor and drive packages, as this design results in higher efficiency and cooler running temperatures, which lead to reduced operating costs and increased reliability.
Registered Organisational Psychologist, Nic Eddy, will also present a talk titled ‘ The worst possible recruiting outcome..and why the Tech Services Manager (eventually) was happy.”
In this presentation, Mr Eddy will discuss working with industry executives to identifying effective strategies for improving their influence in work environments.
Tickets to the event cost $45 which includes breakfast and the three industry presentations. The breakfast will run from 7-9am.
