New BBE facility

Brown Brothers Engineers Australia (BBEA) has a new home in Melbourne.

After 26 years at its original site in Dandenong, the leading distributor of premium brand pumps has moved to a new purpose-built facility in Keysborough.

At approximately 5,700m² under-roof, the new Keysborough facility is almost triple the size of the original Dandenong site, and includes an expanded engineering workshop with specialist pump test facilities, greatly enlarged warehouse, office, showroom and training room.

Managing Director, John Inkster, said the new site was an exciting next step that would allow the company to continue to grow in order to meet evolving business and customer needs.

“Despite the challenges of recent times, business is continuing to grow, our product offering and dealer network is increasingly becoming more diversified and we have a growing team – we had simply outgrown our old site and it was time for a new facility that would allow us to evolve with the changing needs of the market and our customers,” John said.

“Having a larger, purpose-built facility will provide us with much greater capacity to continue to grow as an organisation, meet our customers’ needs and deliver the best in pumping products and solutions.”

As part of the AxFlow Group, BBEA will be joined at the new facility by sister companies, Kelair Pumps Australia and GT Water Technologies.

Trading began at the new facility from 22 June 2021 and it is located at 228 Atlantic Drive, Keysborough, VIC, 3173.
