Pump Industry Australia (PIA) will hold a pump installation and commissioning training program on 25 February at Link Pumps, Williamstown.
The course is conducted in two parts, a theory session followed by a practical session in the Link pump test area.
The theoretical session covers pump base positioning and grouting, alignment and startup checks while the practical session will be set up for hand-on ‘commissioning’, under supervision of the course leaders.
There are only 10 places available in the program and the small number allows for a strong interaction between participants and the course trainers.
The course will be run by Alan Rowan and Ken Kugler, with registration beginning at 8.15am.
