As part of planned strategic development of the reticulated water scheme for the region, Bundaberg Regional Council is constructing a 150mm water main to improve service and water pressure to the area.
Work will initially commence at the site of the new pump station near the new reservoir and progress along Bowden Street to connect with the existing water mains in Heathwood Crescent and Heathwood Lane. The work is expected to be completed by the end of May 2013; weather permitting.
Council will program construction work along Bowden Street to minimise impact and inconvenience to residents.
