The Board of Coliban Water has appointed an Acting Managing Director as preparations are being made for the recruitment of its next Managing Director.
Chief Operating Officer, Neville Pearce, will take on the role of Acting Managing Director, following the departure of Jeff Rigby who has accepted the role of Managing Director at Western Water.
Chairperson Lucy Roffey said Mr Rigby had been an outstanding leader for Coliban Water over the past seven years and the organisation was well positioned to maintain positive momentum under the new arrangements.
Mr Pearce has 30 years of experience in the water industry — the last 10 years with Coliban Water — and has lead the service and infrastructure areas of the organisation as its Chief Operating Officer.
“The Board has confidence the organisation is in good hands under the leadership of Neville as Acting Managing Director and the head of the Leadership Team” Ms Roffey said.
