Roto Pumps targets new global markets with compact industrial pumps designed for high-demand sectors.
In the pumping world, bigger isn’t always better. For Roto Pumps, compact is the new competitive edge. The company has launched its new P-Range of compact industrial pumps, aiming to meet global demand for smaller, high-performance equipment in tough applications like wastewater, oil and gas, food processing and mining.
The new range reflects both engineering refinement and commercial ambition. With performance ratings of up to 360 cubic metres per hour and 24 bar pressure handling, the P-Range is designed for hard work in space-constrained environments. More importantly, it positions Roto to expand its reach into more than 100 countries as part of a broader push to double global revenue over the next three years.
Engineering built for industry pressures
The P-Range isn’t just smaller, it’s smarter. The pumps feature an upgraded thrust bush joint that absorbs axial loads more efficiently, reducing wear and extending operational life. Combined with re-engineered rotor and stator geometry, the design allows for improved suction capabilities and more stable flow, even when handling viscous, abrasive or particulate-laden fluids.
According to Roto, these features reduce unplanned downtime and lower lifetime maintenance costs, particularly in demanding operations like sludge handling or multiphase flow. The compact footprint also enables easier integration into process plants, skid-mounted units or retrofits, all without compromising on performance.
The new models are suited to applications across wastewater treatment, food and beverage processing, chemical manufacturing, mineral processing and agriculture. Their versatility is expected to drive market penetration in both developed and emerging economies.
Global growth powered by R&D
Behind the P-Range is a strategic pivot to build a stronger global footprint. Roto Pumps Joint Managing Director Anurag Gupta said the company has prioritised engineering agility and responsiveness to end-user needs as it pursues a $100 million revenue target by 2028.
“Our commitment to R&D, infrastructure modernisation and automation is enabling us to scale up delivery and respond faster to global customer needs,” Gupta said. “The Roto P Range will be a driving force in global growth, especially in industries where downtime is not an option.”
Roto has also expanded its digital presence, international warehousing and logistics capacity to support faster fulfilment in export markets. While its largest manufacturing hub remains in India, the company is investing in new facilities and partnerships to support global distribution.
The P-Range is expected to support new business in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America, as well as reinforce the brand’s position in Europe and North America.
Designed with users in mind
Design efficiency is only part of the story. The P-Range was also developed to respond to operator preferences for pumps that are easier to install, service and maintain. The streamlined assembly and intuitive layout reflect a broader push within the company to match product design with real-world industry requirements.
Arvind Gupta, Deputy Managing Director of Roto Pumps, said the new design emerged from extensive engagement with customers in high-pressure sectors.
“The Roto P Range was developed with a sharp focus on end-user requirements—ease of installation, low maintenance and precision in performance,” Gupta said. “It reflects our legacy of engineering excellence and our vision of solving real-world fluid handling challenges with intelligent, application-specific solutions.”
