Moreton Bay Regional Council has awarded the contract for the maintenance, monitoring & servicing of 49 sewer pumping stations located throughout the region to J&P Richardson Industries Pty Ltd.
The previous servicing arrangement for the pump stations expired on 30 June 2013. An emergency response agreement is in place with Unitywater until 31 December 2013.
Public tenders for these services closed on 15 October 2013.
The contract is valued at $169,016 (excl. GST) per year and covers a period up to 30 June 2015, with an option to extend for a further 12 month period.
