Blowers are used to move and/or impart moderate increases of pressure to volumes of air or other gas. They come in a wide array of configurations, including both centrifugal or positive displacement styles of operation. Blowers are employed for different applications in a huge range of industries where gas flow is required for temperature control, ventilating, aerating, conveying, drying, or other purposes. For instance, blowers are frequently used in HVAC applications, in the paper and pulp industries, in water and wastewater treatment, for dust control, and for cooling industrial machinery.
