Borehole pumps are submersible pumps used to extract water from a vertical borehole. Borehole pumps are often, but not always, centrifugal pumps and can be single or multi-stage. Generally, these pumps must be robust, portable and corrosion resistant. Borehole pumps are used in a range of industries including irrigation, water supply, construction, mining, fire protection and sewage treatment.
