Pressure pumps are those used to create and maintain fluid pressure for domestic or industrial use. For instance, water pressure pumps are required when a rainwater or gravity fed system does not provide sufficient pressure to transport water to where it is needed. Pressure pumps can be fitted with an automatic controller to control the amount of pressure generated and prevent dry-running. Many different types of pumps can function as pressure pumps, and they can be single or multi-stage, depending on the specific application.
