Pump Industry Capability Guide

Product : Submersible pumps

Submersible pumps can be fully submersed in the fluid to be pumped due to the hermetically sealed motor compartment preventing fluid coming into contact with electrical components. Submersible pumps are self-priming, because the pumped fluid is directly surrounding the pump. Submersible pumps can be single or multi-stage. These pumps are used in a wide variety of industries for applications including mine dewatering, sewage pumping, irrigation and oil production. Dewatering pumps are often submersible pumps and other common submersible pump types include sump pumps, sewage pumps and borehole pumps.
