PIA is holding a seminar on Wednesday 14 August in Sydney to discuss the changes to the fire pump standard AS 2941.
Get the “good oil” on proposed changes to AS 2941 currently under preparation by Standards Australia. PIA has contributed significantly to the new edition and our hope is that this will result in improved compliance and a level playing field for suppliers of this vital equipment for public safety and protection.
Pump Industry Australia will hold a half day seminar on 14 August 2013 to discuss the new Standard AS 2941, currently being finalised by Standards Australia. The objective is to provide information on the proposed changes and enhancements to the 2008 edition of this standard and to provide feedback to Industry stakeholders, so that they can consider what needs to be done to meet these new requirements. The seminar should be of interest to consulting engineers and specification writers to prepare in advance of the release.
