Nidec Motor Corporation, Product Manager, Patrick Hogg, has been selected as HI’s Young Engineer of the Year due to his high level of commitment and volunteerism to the pump manufacturing industry.

The Young Engineer award was established to recognise the efforts and contributions of engineers from member companies and Standard Partners who have made a significant impact within their current position and have also contributed to the advancement of the work of the Hydraulic Institute.

Engineers under the age of 40, as of January 1 the year of nomination, are eligible for the award.
