KOOT, a new entrant to the pump and drive industry founded by an Oxford University alumnus, has officially launched as a global partner for OEMs. Positioned as the “Foxconn of the Pump and Drive Industry,” KOOT provides an integrated platform spanning engineering design, research, development, precision manufacturing, supply chain, and after-sales support.

The company announced its launch alongside recognition as a winner of the European PIA Supplier Award, which honours innovation and supplier excellence in engineering. KOOT said the award validates its approach to combining deep research, cutting-edge design, and precision manufacturing to deliver value for OEMs worldwide.

KOOT already collaborates with global leaders including HOMA of Germany, Pedrollo Group of Italy, and Hitachi of Japan, as well as several American and European majors. Current supply capabilities cover mission-critical pump and motor components such as impellers, casings, shafts, stators, rotors, and sub-assemblies.

The business is backed by a group with more than 40 years of legacy and sales in over 25 countries. It operates technology and support centres in Germany, the USA, and India, with global manufacturing headquartered in Coimbatore, India. KOOT also partners with more than 600 Tier 2 suppliers and is in discussions with further OEMs for strategic alliances to expand reach.

In a company statement, the KOOT team said: “At KOOT, we are redefining how the pump and drive industries can co-create, co-innovate, and scale. Winning the European PIA Supplier Award in our launch year is not just a recognition of our capabilities, but a testament to our team’s relentless pursuit of innovation and engineering excellence.”

By combining OEM partnerships with a scalable platform, KOOT aims to become a preferred partner for pump and drive manufacturers seeking innovation, reliability, and speed to market.
