The Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) is pleased to announce it has released the latest edition of Sewerage Pumping Station Code of Australia Version, WSA 04:2022 Version 3.2, which replaces Version 3.1. This update continues improving and refining the code. Minor editorial errata have been addressed.

Significant changes include amendments to:

  • Integrate relevant WSA 01 polyethylene code requirements into this code and update address PE-centric elements such as utilising specific material properties beyond standard PE100, welder qualification, weld parameters, weld test frequency and guidance when using electrofusion jointing on larger diameter pipelines
  • Update the sewer pipe sizing calculator to an online calculator
  • Include new references to WSA TN 08, WSA 402 and WSA 403
  • Add new WSA product specifications
  • Amendments to Tables M.1 to M.8 in Appendix M6
  • This is a new viewer that supports touch, mouse and keyboard. It also includes a print button, which will put the image onto an A4 page. If you print to a PDF, save the file, and later decide you want to print the figure to an A3 size, you can always change the print settings.

For a detailed summary of the amendments incorporated into this version, refer to WSA 04:2022 Amd 1:2024.

WSAA has also made the following related documents available:

  • WSA TN 08 Product Conformity Assessment Requirements
  • WSA 402 Product and Material Information and Guideline
  • WSA 403 Product and Material Information and Guideline
