SKF’s maintenance products, available through Motion, help extend your rotating equipment, bearing service life, and minimise machinery downtime. With mounting tools, lubricators, alignment systems, and condition monitoring, it’s a comprehensive answer to keeping agricultural equipment running in harsh Australian conditions.

Agricultural equipment is among the hardest-working machinery in the industrial landscape – subject to dirt, moisture, extreme heat, long idle periods, and intense seasonal activity. In such unforgiving conditions, proper bearing maintenance is imperative.

SKF’s maintenance products, available through Motion, are designed to help you get the most out of every bearing. What starts with precision mounting, SKF’s mechanical, hydraulic, and induction-based tools ensure correct fitment from the start, reducing the 16 per cent of premature bearing failures caused by poor fitting practices.

Next comes lubrication – another leading cause of bearing failure. SKF’s SYSTEM 24 automatic lubricators take the guesswork out of grease application, delivering the right amount, at the right time, with no need to access hard-to-reach components.

These systems not only improve uptime and cut maintenance costs but also enhance worker safety by eliminating the need for manual lubrication around moving parts or elevated areas.
