The Ichthys project is seeking various equipment for the Combined Cycle Power Plant, including closed cooling pumps and various valves.
The Combined Cycle Power Plant is being constructed by CH2M Hill – UGL JV and GE consortium under an EPC Contract as part of the onshore facilities for the Ichthys LNG project at Blaydin Point, Darwin.
The consortium is seeking a range of equipment including batteries and chargers, cathode protection system, closed cooling pumps and motorised and manual valves.
The scope of work for this contract is for the design, manufacture, testing, and delivery of horizontal end suction pumps for cooling water for the 500 megawatts of electrical power demand Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Potential vendors must be able to demonstrate proven experience of supply for similar product/components in to likeminded industries such as: Oil & Gas, Power generation and Chemical process. The equipment will be required in the second quarter of 2014.
