The Ichthys project is seeking various equipment for the Combined Cycle Power Plant, including variable frequency drives.
The Combined Cycle Power Plant is being constructed by CH2M Hill – UGL JV and GE consortium under an EPC Contract as part of the onshore facilities for the Ichthys LNG project at Blaydin Point, Darwin.
The consortium is seeking a range of equipment including pipe bulk fittings, pipe supports, precast fire wall, electrical equipment and variable frequency drives.
The scope of work for this is for the design, manufacture, testing, and delivery for medium
voltage variable frequency drive systems for boiler feedwater pumps for the 500 megawatts of
electrical power demand Combined Cycle Power Plant for the INPEX Ichthys onshore Liquefied
Natural Gas facility.
Tier 1 closes on 30 November 2012 and the equipment is required by the first quarter of 2014.
