The new editions of the PIA Technical & Pipe Friction Handbooks will be officially launched at a cocktail party in Melbourne on July 16.

The Pump Industry has long been producing these popular publications as training aids and guides to designing efficient pumping systems.
The presentation will begin at 5.00 pm through to 7.00 pm and there will be an opportunity to see the new editions as well as purchase these at a concessional rate on the day or place an order for immediate delivery from stock.
Technical Handbook
This has been subjected to a major update with a brand new chapter on “Efficient operation of Pumping Systems”. Extensive additions have also been made on “Positive displacement pumps” and “Sewage pumping stations”
Pipe Friction Handbook
There has been a rationalisation of some of the pipe types and reference to Australian standards has been made in this updating process to bring it in line with the latest friction calculation requirements. We are grateful to Sustainability Victoria for assisting us with this event and there will be an opportunity to meet & chat with some of the contributors to the new Technical Handbook on the night.
Don’t miss this opportunity to mix in and network with Australia’s Pump Experts.
Registration is required to receive an invitation,so kindly contact Secretary Kevin Wilson on pumpsaustralia@bigpond.com

or visit  www.pumps.asn.au for registration
