Construction will begin on a new stormwater pump station in Shepparton, between Pine Road and Orchard Circuit Basin.
The new pump station has been designed to increase the outflow capacity of the existing Orchard Circuit pump station that serves both the Orchard Circuit and Pine Park Estates.
The primary objective of this project is to mitigate the occurrence of stormwater inundation occurring to the streets adjoining Orchard Circuit after significant storm events.
Works are scheduled for completion in May 2022, weather and operational factors permitting.
