PIA will be holding a General Meeting for members and guests on Wednesday 16 March 2016, commencing at 4.30pm. The meeting will be chaired by Ron Astall, President PIA.
Venue: The Fairways Room Bankstown Golf Club, 70 Ashford Ave, Milperra NSW 2214
Light refreshments will be served from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm and provide an opportunity for members to network with Councillors in attendance and Industry colleagues.
“We are hoping for a good attendance, so members or their NSW staff and dealers are encouraged to support the event,” says Mr Astall.
“Pump users and Pump Specifiers are also welcome to attend, so let your contacts know about the meeting and the presentations envisaged.
“Please advise Kevin Wilson of your intention to participate and/or bring along a guest, so that the necessary logistics can be organised.”
Program:
The program will open with a formal meeting including financial and statistical reports. The latest industry news will then be delivered by one of the PIA’s long standing members – Lee Lynch from White International.
With the theme of “Energy efficiency initiatives – Where are the power savings?” Keith Sanders will speak about legislation, energy auditing and strategies improvement followed by Malcolm Robertson from Robertson Technology on the topic of continuous monitoring of pump performance.
The event will conclude with an open discussion on: “How the PIA can assist the process.”
