Pump Industry Australia (PIA) is looking for a course leader for an installation and training Course.
The PIA will run the one-day course in August 2025 in Melbourne. The morning sessions will cover theory, based on a current prepared set of course notes. The afternoon sessions will be practical in nature, covering pump alignment and the commissioning run of a pumpset.
The pump installation course leader will conduct both theoretical and practical sessions throughout the course. Participants are encouraged to allocate some time in advance to thoroughly review the course notes.
Familiarising yourself with the material beforehand will enhance your understanding and engagement during the sessions, enabling you to make the most of this learning opportunity. It’s important to come prepared, as this will not only benefit your own learning experience but also contribute to a more interactive and productive environment for everyone involved.
The course leader should be familiar with and experienced in the installation and commissioning of pumps.
A fee for the course will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
For application details and further information, please contact Alan Rowan, PIA, Executive Officer – Publications & Training. If you are looking for other training sessions, keep an eye on the PIA website.
