Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) will complete repairs on a pump station and faulty water pump in Mansfield and Strathbogie (VIC).
The Mansfield’s High Level Zone Water Pump Station has been experiencing pressure fluctuations that is affecting customers water supply, while water supply issues in Strathbogie are due to a fault with a raw water pump.
GVW South East District Manager, Tony Nolan, said that scheduled plans to upgrade the Mansfield pump station have now been moved forward as a priority to rectify water pressure problems in some parts of town.
“Repair works will take place this week to ensure water pressure is no longer a problem for Mansfield customers in the vicinity of the pump station.”
Mansfield repair works will be carried out in November 2015 by GVW staff, during which properties in Highton Lane, Ogilvies Rd, Crosbys Lane, Dundas Court and Monkey Gully Rd experiencing pressure differences throughout the works. However water supply will be maintained.
“Mansfield customers within the high level zone area will receive a text message from us as a courtesy reminder that reduced pressure may be experienced during the works,” Mr Nolan said.
