Australian Industrial Marketing will be holding a Level 1 pump training course in Melbourne over two consecutive Tuesdays in September as follows:
Day 1: Tuesday 23 September 2014
Session 1 – Pump types & construction, commencing at 8.30 am, finishing 12.30 pm.
Session 2 – Pump systems & Pump selection, commencing at 1.00 pm, finishing 4.30pm.
Day 2: Tuesday 30 September 2014
Session 3 – Pump operation & fluid parameters, commencing at 8.30 am, finishing 12.30 pm.
Session 4 – Testing, installation & troubleshooting, commencing at 1.00 pm, finishing 4.30pm.
The course will be held in the MCC Baseball clubrooms at Surrey Drive, Box Hill South, VIC, 3128 (Melways 47 B12). Tea/coffee breaks and a light lunch will be provided on both days for participants.
Assignments will be given out for each session, which will be the basis for assessment at the end of the course, when completion certificates will be presented to successful candidates. The course fee will be $ 380.00 + GST per head and includes our course notes.
Participants should bring notepad, pencils and calculator for in-session worked examples.
If required, we can provide the latest editions of PIA Technical Friction handbooks on which the course is based for each participant at the PIA members’ price of $76.50 per copy.
