QUU is seeking expressions of interest for the $3.2 billion in a 10-year capital works program to upgrade and improve the reliability of their infrastructure.

QUU would like to encourage Australian industry participation across all its projects.  The Forward Procurement Schedule contains a complete list of procurement activity to be undertaken and can be found here.

Suppliers will need to be registered on the Queensland Government eTender website to access and download Requests for tender documents and to lodge any subsequent offer to Queensland Urban Utilities. Further information can be found here. All new suppliers are urged to register with the Queensland Government eTender website and select the relevant industry categories that suit your business so that your organisation will receive automatic notifications of new opportunities for those categories selected.

Established on 1 July 2010, Queensland Urban Utilities is one of the largest water distributor-retailers in Australia, providing water and sewerage services to more than 1.3 million residents across Brisbane, Ipswich, the Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Somerset local authority areas.  Their service territory covers 14,362 square kilometres and we employ around 1,200 people.

Expressions close on 21 December 2013
