IR pumps are one of the most known and appreciated series of the Italian manufacturer SAER ELETTROPOMPE.

SAER has released the new catalogue which, considering the different metallurgies available, includes more than 800 models available in two and four poles, outlet from DN32 to DN200, with power ratings from 0.37kW to 90kW.

The catalogue includes:

  • Super duplex version, in addition to the cast iron, stainless steel AISI 316, bronze and spheroidal cast iron one (for hot water)
  • New sizes, two and four poles for power up to 90kW
  • Version with IE four efficiency motor

IR can be offered with an inverter on a motor board up to 15kW. The inverter regulates the rotation speed of the motor, thus modifying the performance of the pump to adapt it to the conditions of use.

A pump equipped with an inverter has several advantages, such as less wear of mechanical components and reduction of water hammer risk on the system, hence a reduced life cost. It also has energy saving benefits, with minimal impact on the environment thanks to reduced consumption.
