Unitywater has awarded two contracts in association with the Redcliffe sewage treatment plant rehabilitation in the Redcliffe Peninsula, Queensland.
The first contract was awarded to Trility for the refurbishment, with ongoing operation and maintenance, of the Redcliffe STP to ensure that sufficient hydraulic and treatment capacity is provided to reliably achieve environmental licence compliance up to at least the rated design capacity of the STP. It was awarded via a selective offer process with a total of three submissions and is estimated at a value of $45,800,000.
The second contract was awarded to Dormway for the upgrade of four pump stations along the north eastern coastal strip of Redcliffe in addition to the upgrade of sewer rising main at SPS-RED005 and the installation of emergency storage tanks at SPS-RED003. It was awarded via a selective offer process with a total of eight submissions and is estimated at a value of $2,135,041.
