Pump Industry Australia (PIA) is hosting a pump installation and commissioning training program on 25 May 2016 at Link Pumps in Williamstown (VIC).

The training program consists of a theoretical session and a practical session.

The theory will cover pump base positioning and grouting, as well as alignment and start-up checks.

The practical session will take place in the Link pump test area where a unit will be set up for hands-on activities including ‘commissioning’ and a ‘run test’, under supervision of the course leaders.

Alan Rowan and Ken Kugler are the course leaders and early registration is recommended as there are only ten places available.

Applicants may also be requested to demonstrate a working knowledge of pumps, either by previous experience or by past attendance at an approved pump technology training course.
