Tender: East Grampians Rural Pipeline Project works

The Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water Corporation (GWM Water) (VIC) is seeking tenders for early work and construction for the East Grampians Rural Pipeline (EGRP) Project. 

GWMWater is tendering the project design and construction under a two-stage contract, comprising:

Early work component:

• Preliminary network alignment design including hydraulic design
• Environmental assessments, documentation and approvals
• Cultural Heritage investigations, documentation and approvals
• Detailed design of all pipelines, pump stations, water storages and associated network infrastructure

Construction component:

• Supply and installation of up to 400km of trunk main pipeline (DN100 – DN450)
• Supply and installation of up to 1000km of distribution pipeline (DN63 – DN90)
• Supply and installation of associated pipeline valves and fittings, including approximately 800 customer meter connections
• Supply and construction of approximately 14 pump stations
• Supply and construction of water storage tanks and open storages as/if required
• Testing and commissioning of the network

Expected timing for delivery of this contract is:

• Early work component: September 2019–December 2020
• Construction component: April 2020–December 2021
