Gosford City Council is looking for tenders for the refurbishment of Sewage Pump Station E2.
The works will involve installation/maintaining/operation of a bypass pumping system, dewatering wet well, cleaning, surface preparation, relining of the concrete wet well, demolition of existing SCA plinth, construction of a new concrete plinth for the installation of electrical SCA, removal of the existing SCA and relocating it to a temporary location in a safe manner etc as specified in the specification.
The refurbishment is part of the extensive Sewage Pump Station Upgrade Program aimed at improving the reliability, capacity and performance of the region’s sewer network.
Condition assessments have been carried out at all Council’s pump stations – around 180 – to identify those needing high-priority upgrades.
Upgrade works are either underway or planned in a number of areas – including Point Frederick, Woy Woy, Terrigal and Kariong.
