Queensland’s LinkWater is looking for a consultant to develop pump station energy efficiency business cases.

The project scope requires a consultant who can:
• Identify and account for any operational constraints;
• Identify any plant, electrical capacity or operational concerns which may inhibit the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives;
• Identify the operating philosophies of each pumping station, specifically the initiators and sequencing of pumps and other significant energy use; and
• Assess the potential impacts of possible future configuration or use of the pumping stations.

The Queensland Bulk Water Transport Authority (QBWTA), trading as LinkWater, is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of potable bulk water pipelines in South East Queensland (SEQ).

The tender closes on 25 Oct 2012 at 1:00 PM (Brisbane time).  Tender documents can be obtained after registration with the LinkWater e-Tender portal at www.tenderlink.com/linkwater
