SunWater (QLD) is seeking tenders for the removal of a bridge deck at Collinsville low lift pump station.
During a flood event in March 2010, the Collinsville low lift pump station (LL PSTN) suffered significant damage. The bridge deck was torn from its foundation and subsequently deposited on its side, resting on the intake tunnel, supported by the pump station dry well.
In order to prevent further damage to the LL PSTN, SunWater requires the bridge deck be removed from its current location. It is proposed that all of the work required to remove the bridge deck will be undertaken as part of this contract.
