Wyong Shire Council is seeking tenders for a scheduled upgrade of the area’s Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) WS11. The upgrade will seek to address a number of service deficiencies including insufficient emergency storage, odour issues and reliability of the existing emergency relief system.
SPS WS11 is located in Apex Park, Wyong at street address 150 Pacific Highway Wyong, NSW 2259. Access to the site is via an access road that connects North Road and Cutler Drive. The pumping station receives the discharge from a gravity catchment as well as 26 subsidiary stations and then pumps some 5.2 km along a rising main to the inlet works of the Wyong South wastewater treatment plant.
