A dedicated irrigation precinct is coming to Greenscapes + Green Expo 2026, bringing a focus on water management technologies and sustainable irrigation.
The Irrigation Precinct will provide insight into technologies designed to improve water efficiency, reduce waste and support smarter asset management across urban environments.
Technologies on display are expected to include smart irrigation systems, automation and control platforms, AI and IoT monitoring technologies, pumps, fittings and water distribution systems.
The new precinct has been developed to connect irrigation suppliers with buyers and decision-makers responsible for specifying, installing and maintaining landscapes and public green infrastructure projects across Australia.
The precinct will sit alongside the broader Greenscapes + Green Expo program, which focuses on sustainable landscaping, urban greening and climate-resilient outdoor environments.
The event aims to address growing challenges linked to climate variability, urbanisation and the increasing demand for sustainable infrastructure solutions.
The show is also expected to create opportunities for utilities, councils, contractors and landscape professionals to engage directly with suppliers and technology providers as investment in public infrastructure and green space projects continues to grow.
Its introduction comes as Queensland prepares for the 2032 Olympic Games, with significant investment planned for urban development, public spaces and supporting infrastructure. Organisers said the event will highlight the role efficient irrigation and water management systems will play in creating greener, more resilient and liveable cities.
Greenscapes + Green Expo takes place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 5–6, 2026. For more information, click here.
