Quick wins can be achieved in the efficiency game, particularly in motors.

While many solutions focus on complex digital systems, the TECO MAXe3 Mining Premium Efficiency IE3 electric motor provides a practical, immediate upgrade – delivering efficiency gains without requiring new infrastructure, costly monitoring systems, or extensive retrofits.

Built to a premium IE3 efficiency standard, the TECO MAXe3 Mining is designed for seamless integration with IP66 protection, Class F and H insulation systems, and a robust cast-iron frame, making it a suitable drop-in replacement for existing pump motors.

The payback period for upgrading from a less efficient motor to a TECO MAXe3 Mining, according to the company, is minimal. And on sites powered by diesel generators, every kilowatt-hour saved translates into lower fuel consumption, fewer emissions and reduced operating cost.

“As the move to more efficient motors continues to gain momentum in the industry, overall consuming costs are becoming more important,” TECO Australia sales director Wilfred Krog said.

“If remote mines sites rely on diesel generators to provide their power, then this energy conversation is even more critical (as) most mine sites have sustainability targets to reach.”

While many efficiency solutions today require businesses to invest in smart monitoring platforms, integrated digital controls, and/or brand-specific drive systems that come with an additional cost, TECO Australia and New Zealand takes a different approach, focusing on plug-and-play efficiency.

The TECO MAXe3 Mining Super Premium IE3 electric motor is designed for immediate performance improvement in pump applications, with no need for additional infrastructure or proprietary software.

The result? Lower energy costs, improved reliability, and a seamless transition to a more efficient system.

Find the TECO MAXe3 Mining reducing costs in a range of pump sub-sectors, including water, wastewater, HVAC, oil and gas, and mining industries, to name a few.
