Pump Industry has launched a new content series exploring the top tender opportunities for the Australian pump sector. The first instalment features North East Water, the Mallee Catchment Management Authority, and more.

North East Water is tendering for a principal contractor to carry out the design and construction of recycled water facilities in Rutherglen, Victoria.

This involves the development of a new tertiary treatment plant to upgrade recycled water quality from Class C to Class B, alongside a range of other water infrastructure.

Three pump stations will need to be built, including a 40 litres per second (l/s) dissolved air flotation (DAF) feed system, a reuse transfer system and a one-megalitre storage tank and pump station at Rutherglen golf course.

The proposed works, which come under the Rutherglen urban reuse scheme, also involve the installation of recycle pumps and lift pumps.

The advanced tender is open until March 16. Find out more here.

The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) in Victoria is seeking partners to support its water delivery project this autumn, with works set to include the supply and installation of temporary pumps and pipelines, and the construction of temporary earthen levees.

Tenders open until March 2. Learn more here.

QBuild is calling for new partners to participate in the provision of trade waste services across the Wide Bay Burnett region of Queensland.

This includes various water and sewage projects, with new pump stations and treatment plants on the bill.

Queensland’s Department of Education is on the look-out for a head contractor to design and construct a Block 4 Subsidence at Bellevue Park State School in Gold Coast.

Works will involve the replacement of sewer infrastructure and the installation of a new sewer pump, with works to be completed by May 2026.

Submissions close on February 20. Learn more here.
