Pump Industry has launched a new content series exploring the top tender opportunities for the Australian pump sector. The second instalment features East Gippsland Water, the Wakefield Regional Council, and more.

East Gippsland Water has launched an advanced tender notice for the design, supply and construction of a water booster station in Wy Yung.

Through the single-stage tender process, the utility is considering contractors with experience in the design, supply and construction of pump station structures and electrical and communications systems including switchboard, pump controls, SCADA telemetry and testing/commissioning.

East Gippsland Water is also favouring experience in civil foundation works, pump and pipework installation and associated site works.

The advanced tender is open until April 3. Find out more here.

Wakefield Regional Council is tendering for the operation, ongoing maintenance and management of its five CWMS wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations across the council region in South Australia.

The tender is open until April 3. Learn more here.

City of Playford north of Adelaide is tendering for a project to boost the capacity of its Mofflin and Ridley Reserve pump stations.

At Mofflin, this work involves decommissioning the existing 12m diameter steel water storage tank, installing a new 500-kilolitre tank and supplying and installing associated pipework. The contractor will also be tasked with connecting and supplying two new VSD pumps.

The project also involves installing pipework to connect the Mofflin and Ridley pump stations.

The tender is open until April 17. Learn more here.

North East Water’s advanced tender for a principal contractor to carry out the design and construction of recycled water facilities in Rutherglen, Victoria, remains open.

This involves the development of a new tertiary treatment plant to upgrade recycled water quality from Class C to Class B, alongside a range of other water infrastructure.

Three pump stations will need to be built, including a 40 litres per second dissolved air flotation feed system, a reuse transfer system and a one-megalitre storage tank and pump station at Rutherglen golf course.

The proposed works, which come under the Rutherglen urban reuse scheme, also involve the installation of recycle pumps and lift pumps.

The advanced tender is open until April 27. Find out more here.
