Exhibition spaces are rapidly filling up as the pumping industry rallies behind the WA Mining Conference and Exhibition (WA Mining), set to return to Perth this October. This gathering will highlight the crucial role of pumping solutions in supporting mining operations across Australia.
With just months to go before WA Mining opens its doors in 2025, the state’s flagship mining event has welcomed the return of an association partner, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA).
CCIWA’s return as an industry partner marks a significant milestone in the event’s continued growth and industry relevance.
CCIWA is one of Western Australia’s leading industry associations, committed to supporting local businesses and driving sustainable economic development. The partnership with CCIWA helps reinforce WA Mining’s reputation as a key platform for industry connection and innovation, as well as highlighting WA Mining’s role in shaping the future of the state’s mining and resources sector.
Head of International Trade and Investment Michael Carter at CCIWA said the association is thrilled to be partnering with WA Mining once again in 2025.
“This event continues to be a key platform for connecting industry, technology, and investment to support the future of Western Australia’s critical resources sector,” Carter said.
“We’re proud to return because of the strength and scale of our mining sector, which remains the backbone of WA’s economy, driving exports, regional development, and innovation.
“The resources industry accounts for more than half of WA’s economic output and underpins thousands of jobs and businesses across the state.”
Carter said CCIWA actively supports the sector through a range of services, including its Construction and Mining IR Services, which assist businesses from the pre-construction planning phase through to commissioning across major projects in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, as well as delivering the Industry Capability Network (ICN) Gateway, helping connect local suppliers with large-scale project opportunities and strengthening the state’s supply chain resilience.
“Events like WA Mining are essential to keep the sector at the forefront of global competitiveness,” Mr Carter said.
“They foster knowledge-sharing, showcase the latest in METS and technology, and strengthen the collaborative networks that support growth and sustainability.”
In addition to a presence on the exhibition floor, CCIWA representatives will participate in the thought-leading conference program, sharing insight into advancing commerce and trade in the state.
Building on the success of last year’s sold-out show, strong interest from the industry has pushed demand for exhibition space beyond expectations once again as the industry recognises WA Mining as a premier platform to connect, showcase innovation, and engage with key players across the sector.
