Water Corporation has appointed a new Acting Chairman following the resignation of Michael Hollett due to business and family interests.
Deputy Chairman and Chair of the Water Corporation’s Audit & Risk Committee, David Lock, has taken up the role of Acting Chairman, bringing significant finance skills to the board.
Prior to taking up a position on the Water Corporation Board in 2014, Mr Lock held senior managerial roles in Australian food and agribusiness companies and in a large international consultancy.
Mr Hollet joined Water Corporation’s Board in 2012 and was appointed as Chairman in January 2017.
A new Chairperson will be appointed in due course in accordance with the Water Corporations Act 1995.
