About Pump Industry Magazine

Pump Industry is Australia’s only dedicated pump magazine and is produced by Monkey Media in cooperation with Pump Industry Australia (PIA).

Pump Industry brings together end users, specifiers, manufacturers and suppliers, providing the latest information about pumps and associated equipment across all industries, including water and wastewater, mining, oil and gas, food and beverage, seals, and more.

Integrated across print and online, Pump Industry explores all the latest news in standards, projects and products, and technical content. Connected to Pump Industry is the Industry Capability Guide which is a one-stop-shop for end users and specifiers to quickly and easily find industry providers. This guide can be found online and in print, and is produced once a year.

The magazine features the latest news from the PIA, articles exploring the use of pumps and associated equipment on major projects, technical articles, thought-leading content from experts, and interviews with end users and some of the most influential and experienced people in the industry.

Our role in the industry

For over five years, Pump Industry magazine has been the trusted source for pumps news in Australia. As the only magazine dedicated to pumps and associated equipment in the country, we continue to be an important resource for everyone in the industry to get the latest news on standards and projects, as well as news from the PIA.

We also provide high-quality technical content, written by experts in the industry for the industry, allowing readers to refresh their knowledge, learn about the latest developments and spark new ideas.

With the launch of the Industry Capability Guide in 2016, Pump Industry solidified itself as not only the go-to place for all the latest news, but also as a key reference tool to find industry providers in a single, easy to use website and print guide.

Pump Industry remains committed to supporting the PIA and the industry by providing a platform where end users, specifiers, manufacturers and suppliers to connect and communicate.

Pump Industry – published by Monkey Media

Pump Industry is published by Monkey Media, one of Australia’s leading trade publishers in the energy and infrastructure sectors. In addition to Pump Industry, Monkey Media also publishes Utility, Infrastructure and Energy. Monkey Media is also the organiser of highly regarded industry events including Digital Utilities and Asset Management for Critical Infrastructure.

While the way the world communicates has changed rapidly over the last 20 years, the need for tailored, quality industry information has not. At the core of Monkey Media is a team of editors, journalists and designers with in-depth knowledge of the industries we work in, and an ability to put that expertise to work to create high-quality, engaging and thought-provoking content. Monkey Media’s growth over the past few years has bucked the trend of most media companies, and in 2018 we were listed in the Australian Financial Review’s Fast 100.
