AxFlow and Brown Brothers Engineers have announced the retirement of esteemed Managing Director, John Inkster, effective 30 April 2024.
After an impressive career spanning 38 years with the company, Mr Inkster leaves behind a legacy of unparalleled dedication, and remarkable achievements. Under Mr Inkster’s guidance, Brown Brothers Engineers has evolved from a family-owned enterprise to a thriving member of the AxFlow Group with a diverse portfolio of successful companies.
In recent years, Mr Inkster spearheaded a series of strategic acquisitions that further solidified AxFlow’s presence in the market. These acquisitions not only expanded the company’s reach but also reinforced its commitment to customer service in Australia and New Zealand. Mr Inkster leaves behind a strong and professional team, well-set for future growth.
As Mr Inkster heads into a well-deserved retirement, AxFlow Holding’s CEO, Ole Weiner, has expressed his appreciation and well wishes to Mr Inkster as he embarks on this new chapter in his life.
Mr Weiner has also announced that Michael Briggs will step into the role of Managing Director of AxFlow Oceania from 12 February 2024.
“Throughout his more than two decades-long career, Michael has demonstrated strong experience in the business-to-business environment managing profit and loss, driving business performance, and setting strategic direction under challenging environments,” Mr Weiner said.
Mr Briggs will come from ABB, where he has been the Australian Head of the Motion business unit and a member of the Leadership team of ABB Australia.
