Tasmanian Irrigation has invited farmers to attend Drop in Days to learn about the company’s 13,500ML Tamar Irrigation Scheme, meet the project team and complete applications for water sales.
Water sales are open until the end of February 2024 for the redesigned scheme.
A strong water sales result is essential for the project to be considered for funding by State and Federal Governments.
Tasmanian Irrigation has urged farmers to submit water sales contracts as soon as possible, to ensure that this project progresses to the next stage.
