Finnish pump solution company, Flowrox, has opened a subsidiary in Shanghai, China. The establishment of the Flowrox Co., Ltd. in Shanghai is an integral part of the company’s strategic plan for a long-term business development in the country, and an important milestone to expand its markets globally. Flowrox products first entered the Chinese market 30 years ago and since then have been helping Chinese customers in various mining, metallurgy, waste water treatment, and chemical applications.

“Now we are able to be very close to our customers, the new established company will play an important role in further improving cooperation with local partners, engineering companies, and providing quick service to local customers. I believe that in the future more and more end users in China will benefit from energy savings, cost reductions, and improved process efficiency provided by Flowrox products” says Mr. Sun Lin, Managing director of Flowrox Co., Ltd.

Mr. Lin knows the Chinese market very well and has solid knowledge in mining, metallurgy, waste water treatment, and other process industries. Earlier, he has lived in Lappeenranta, Finland for 5 years, and has worked for Larox/Flowrox for 20 years.

In addition to China, Flowrox has their subsidiaries also in the United States, Australia, Russia and South-Africa with a world-wide sales network. The company is headquarted in Lappeenranta, Finland.
