The construction of the new Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) facility has reached a key milestone, with excavation works commencing to allow for the installation of a 20,000L wastewater holding tank, grease arrestor and new council wastewater pump station chamber.
Initial construction work commenced at the beginning of August 2018 and has progressed quickly. Substantial excavation works commenced adjacent to the facility on 4 December 2018, to allow for the installation of key infrastructure components to service the building.
Performing these works simultaneously will increase project efficiencies and reduce overall inconvenience for the community and visitors alike.
These excavation works are expected to be completed by late December 2018, before Christmas.
